Mental Health Tips
Do you find yourself running on empty? Are your days out of control? Are you being reactive instead of being proactive? If you said yes to any of those questions, keep reading.
I use to LET the day run me. I never felt productive and I had a list a mile long of to-dos still at the end of each day….
I am sharing with you what I am doing to stop the cycle:
- I stopped looking at my phone when I first wake up. Now I don't look at my phone until after #3.
- I put my phone on Do Not Disturb from the hours of 9pm-7am. I'm setting boundaries with others and myself.
- I make time for myself in the morning and before I lay down at night. I use my new planner and write what I'm grateful for, affirmations, and my intentions for the day. I do my night time skin care regimen and some other beauty routines.
- I stopped scrolling. I spend maybe 10 minutes twice a day on social media scrolling.
- I try at least one thing new a day. This breaks me out of the mundane day-to-day schedule and keeps my days interesting and something to look forward to.
- I do at least one thing that brings me joy each day. Read a good book for 15 minutes, take a longer than usual hot shower, light a scented candle, etc.
Let me know what you will be trying to help you gain control of your day!
Love, Rhonda xo
